#FortuneCometArrow: My Top 5 Iona Hikawa/Cure Fortune Moments

The Road to Cure Earth Watchalongs series continues as we move on to our next mid-season Cure to be featured, Iona Hikawa aka Cure Fortune from Happiness Charge PreCure! But before that, here are my top 5 moments from her!

5. Iona's reconciliation with Himewa

A good sign after a quite so long misunderstanding and distrust over a very accusing terrible mistake, both Himewa and Iona are now in good terms and working hand in hand to fight the Phantom Empire without any unfortunate distraction.

4. Her confession with Yuya-kun

I like how Yuya-kun takes a step that he has a crush on our lucky star, which in turn becomes a tremendous key for Fortune to activate her Innocent form by confessing her own feelings to him, so that's why I totally shipped them too aside from Megumi/Lovely and Seiji.

3. The karate dojo heiress

Much like Itsuki Myoudouin before her, Iona is an incredible karate fighter which makes her badass both in and out of the battle arenas and that's what I really adore about her very much.

2. A tension showdown vs the PreCure Hunter

Rivalries in the Cure series is one of the things for its constant longevity and this one is no exception. Even before we learned about being an actual mascot fairy, Phantom is really strong as the PreCure Hunter and considers to be a huge rival to Iona.

1. Her love with her sister is priceless

A-yup, Happiness Charge! really has major-major flaws, but what makes it very nice at least is the sisterly bond between Iona and Maria because I just love them so much. Maria, or rather Cure Tender, has taken the hit for her imouto which triggers the latter to follow her footsteps for the rescue. Tender's brainwashing made me shock and the showdown between sisters had been getting on my nerves, but fortunately she returned to normal safely.

A Pretty Cure Series X-Over Fanart: The God and the Prince

TWO HANDSOME MEN FROM TWO DIFFERENT PARALLEL WORLDS| The blogger's illustration of Happiness Charge Pretty Cure!'s Earth deity Blue and Go! Princess Pretty Cure's Prince Hope Grand Kanata in traditional art form, uncolored, and along with their names both in Japanese and English writings was taken on the evening of March 7, 2016, Philippines Standard Time.

This is actually a proposal of mine for an art appreciation midterms project while watching a primetime news and evening soap operas, probably it took for few hours to finish it. So instead of the usual painting, why can't I do in the oil pastels instead para maiba naman (to make it different)? However before that, I've been experiencing illustration's block about a week ago (curses that same hell thing to Yui Nanase!) and I was about to lose hope in finding my muse for that proposal.

Then the time came, I was remembered and realized about what I did in doing a Pretty Cure crossover fan-art ft Yui-Yui herself and Seiji Sagara, so why not doing the same thing to Blue-sama and Prince Kanata? Ah finally! I found my inspiration at last.

On the side note, forgive me about the distorted stuff, but that was actually my drawing style infusing with the ones of Masayuki Sato and Yukiko Nakatani. 

Best of SeiYui Songs in the Pretty Cure Series Part 1: Tomodachi to Iu Mahou (The Magic Called Friends)

Since the Go! Princess Pretty Cure finale has just getting closer, I decided to make a two-parter featuring our two hottest and trendiest Earth helpers from the Happiness Charge and the Princess squads - and this time we will look and take some lyric memorization at their awesome songs alongside their respective closed Cure heroic friends off from the respective second vocal albums of their seasons.

The first part of the Best of SeiYui Songs in the Pretty Cure Series will be "Tomodachi to Iu Mahou (The Magic Called Friends)" by Megumi Nakajima, Rina Kitagawa and Ryousuke Kanemoto who're provide the voices of Megumi "Cure Lovely" Aino (aka the 10th anniversary Cure leader), Yuko "Cure Honey" Omori and Seiji Sagara (aka the 10th anniversary Cure helper). In case you are wondering, why the heck am I naming "SeiYui?" Actually because aside from being a punny inspiration from Sore ga Seiyuu!, I did this due to the fact that Seiji and his successor from GPPC, Yui Nanase, are the only ones who're (almost) actively appeared in their seasons. Therefore, both are became close to their respective Cure leaders: Lovely and Seiji are childhood friends-turned-lovers while Flora and Yui-Yui are roommates and friends, so there's that.
