#CosmoShining: My Top 5 Yuni/Cure Cosmo Moments

Before anything else, I wanna greet a very belated happy birthday to one of the remaining two second generation kenkyuusei/trainees of MNL48 that's Nile Casitas! I wish all the best for her and good luck to her expanded idol journey, especially the upcoming third general elections this October!

Aye yo what's up, everyone?! Yona once again and welcome to the final week of The Road to Cure Earth Watchalongs which just ended yesterday, and we are down to the most recent mid-season Cure and the very first in Japan's Reiwa era that's Yuni aka Cure Cosmo from Star☆Twinkle PreCure.

Yuni isn't only the second alien Cure after her teammate Lala Hagoromo/Cure Milky (who celebrated her birthday last Tuesday), but also she's among the firsts in the franchise that has various traits: to have several aliases or fursonas, to haven't had a surname, to not a transfer student like some mid-season Cures, to have an animalistic human form and to use an alternate persona to infiltrate an evil organization. In fact, Cosmo is the second blue Cure to do shape-shifting and appear mid-season after Siren/Ellen Kurokawa/Cure Beat from Suite.

And as always, here are my top 5 Cosmo moments!

5. Galaxy idol

Her first official debut as the galaxy idol Mao, a very good start for Yuni and I was quite curious about who she was at first. But nevertheless, she quickly captured everybody's hearts including Prunce and her song "Cosmic☆Mystery☆Girl" was really catchy and cute.

4. The chase is on... In space!

Episode 36 of the season saw Blue Cat's return and this time to retrieve an ore of Planet Rainbow from Don Octo that stole it from our space cat in another faraway planet Zeni. More than that, I like how aggressive Mary Ann was as a detective and she was a rival of sorts to Yuni in terms of both principles about justice and being opposites, yet instead that the two would work together to get of those space mafias in an out-of-this-world chase.

3. A stray cat and a space cyclopean gal

Yuni's relationship with Aiwarn was totally complicated and strained when the latter learned about the former's disguise as the butler Bakenyan, and we also learned that the space cyclopean was the responsible for turning the Planet Rainbow inhabitants into stone in the past. But their ultimate reconciliation and forgiveness signaled a whole new beginning for the both of them as we saw them finally making terms in the finale.

2. A spectroscopic maiden debut

When Yuni received a fifth Star Color Pendant and Pen from Fuwa, she transformed into Cure Cosmo and we saw how she fought against the Notraiders with ease. But also, I felt a little concern about what the future held for our space feline afterwards especially she had no place to go.

1. A quite huge adjustments on the blue planet

Normally, most mid-season Cures took some adjustments while they temporarily lived on Earth, and Yuni wasn't an exception for that except the moment when she finally embraced true friendship thanks to Hikaru and the gang, something that she had never felt in any of her fursonas. Moreover, she had a wonderful bond with Earth cats and tendencies to catch a fish due to her catlike features.

That concludes my top 5 Cosmo moments and also my special blogs on this watcahlong! What are your favorite moments from her? Comment here below, on my FB page or my Twitter @goddessyk13.
